8D 7N PHNOM PENH - BATTAMBANG - SIEM REAP

 
Day 1: PHNOM PENH – Arrival (--/L/D))
Arrival into PHNOM PENH International Airport – meet/greet & transfer to Hotel – lunch @ local restaurant before starting tour of the city visiting the Victory Monument and the National Museum, (Musee des Beaux-Arts), a building designed in Khmer style in 1917 by French archeologist & painter, Georges Groslier. Visit the Royal Palace built by King Norodom in 1866 and the Silver Pagoda. The treasures found inside the silver pagoda includes a solid gold Buddha encrusted weighing 90kg & a small 17th century emerald & baccarat crystal Buddha. Tour continues to visit the Central Market & ending with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to hotel. Overnight in PHNOM PENH
 
Day 2: PHNOM PENH - BATTAMBANG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we depart to BATTAMBANG by road covering a distance of 290km (4-5 hrs drive). En route, we stop at KOMPONG CHHNANG to see the pottery village before visiting a floating village on a private boat at KRAR KOR. Lunch at a local restaurant – after lunch, we visit stone carving in PURSAT before continuing journey to BATTAMBANG, arriving the late afternoon. Check in hotel & have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Battambang
 
Day 3: BATTAMBANG TOUR (B/L/D)
Daily breakfast in hotel – today we drive along the picturesque SANGKER RIVER to WAT SLAKET PAGODA, the residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch. Continue to WAT EK PHNOM & the communities surrounding it to observe their many lifestyles. Lunch at local restaurant before continue tour to visit the Provincial Museum (closed on Saturdays & Sundays) and a local market. Drive to PHNOM BANON with its five sandstone towers on top of a hill to enjoy a magnificent view. Dinner at a local restaurant & return to hotel. Overnight in Battambang
 
Day 4: BATTAMBANG – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
Daily breakfast in hotel & check out – travel by land to SIEM REAP making a stop at CHEUR KHMAO PAGODA (Black wood pagoda), BAK PRIER floating village & cross over to floating village of PREK TUOL. Picnic lunch & take a boat across TONLE SAP Lake to CHHONG KNEAS floating village. Check in hotel, have dinner at local restaurant and overnight in SIEM REAP
Note: between mid July to mid January each year, where water levels in the lake are sufficiently high enough, PAX has the option to take a boat ride through SANGKER River and TONLE SAP to visit the areas stated in the itinerary & upon arriving at CHHONG KNEAS, PAX will be transfer by car to SIEM REAP town.
 
Day 5: SIEM REAP - TOUR (B/L/D)
Daily breakfast in hotel – start the day visit to the monuments of ROLOUS GROUP. These monuments served as the capital of Indravarman 1 are among the earliest large permanent temples built by the Khmers, marking the beginning of Khmer classical art. Visit PREAH KO – a temple dedicated by the King to his ancestors; BAKONG – the largest of ROLOUS group temples with a still active Buddhist monastery & LOLEI, a temple built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir which today has become rice fields. Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing tour by Tuk-Tuk to see brick sculptures of PRASAT KRAVAN, the SRAH SRANG reservoir known as the royal baths once used for ritual bathing, BANTEAY KDEI, EASTERN MEBON temple guarded by stone figures of harnessed elephants, the mountain temple of PRE RUP. On the way back, we stop at PRASAT BEY, south gate of ANGKOR THOM – take the Khmer traditional designed boat to view the great wall of ANGKOR THOM compound along the TONLE OUM River. Stopover at PRASAT CHRUNG CORNER & visit the secret place called “TADEV HOLE”. Later we walk up the temple for the best sunset view. Return to hotel to refresh yourselves again before going out to dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in SIEM REAP.
 
Day 6: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we depart to visit the most famous of all temples = THE ANGKOR WAT. This temple complex covers 81 hectares which is comparable to the Imperial Palace of China in Beijing. The 12th Century masterpiece temple is considered by art Historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art & architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your temple tour visiting the SOUTH GATE with huge statues depicting the churning ocean of milk; the ancient ANGKOR THOM, BAYON TEMPLE unique for its towers decorated with over smiling faces; the Royal Enclosure, PHIMEANAKAS, the ELEPHANT TERRACE & TERRACE OF THE LEPER KING. Sunset at ANGKOR WAT before having dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in SIEM REAP.
 
Day 7: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI (B/L/D)
Early morning transfer to the archeological site for sunrise at PHNOM BAKHENG, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor. From here you will have spectacular views of WESTERN BARAY & ANGKOR WAT during sunrise before returning to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to BANTEAY SREI, a 10th century temple regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art. Continue to TA PROHM, one of the area’s most beautiful temples – relatively untouched when discovered & retained much of its mystery. Lunch at a local restaurant – after lunch, continue tour to PREAH KHAN, a temple built by King Jayavarman VII, NEAK PEAN fountain built representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake, TA SOM & BANTEAY SAMRE – dinner in local restaurant & overnight in SIEM REAP
 
Day 8: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B/L/--)
After breakfast, take a drive to SILK FARM OF PUOK to learn about the different stages of producing handmade silk. Continue to WAT INKOSEI site of an ancient temple & WAT BO pagoda to view its well preserved paintings. You will also get to see the monks making various moulds that adorn the pagodas. Lunch at Local restaurant before some free time at LES ARTISANS D’ ANGKOR & a local market (if time permits) - transfer to Airport to connect your flight out. END OF PROGRAM

Child Rate is only applicable to those aged below 12 yrs as at date of travel; Child above 02 years but below 12 sharing the same room as 02 full paying Adults (parents) and requiring an extra bed in room (or not requiring any extra bed in room) is granted 25% discount from applicable Adult Tour fare;

BCC TRAVEL MALAYSIA reserves the right to provide for similar alternative hotel accommodation in the event the proposed hotel is not available & also reserves the right to change or cancel any tour/transfer should conditions beyond our control renders it necessary, for example: floods, earthquake, typhoon, hurricane, hotel renovations…etc;

Additional charges payable for early check in or late check out of accommodation;

Optional tours, tours not mentioned in itinerary, items & expenditure of personal nature;
Travel insurance, visa, medical services, shopping & donations to places of visits, laundry …etc;
Camera / handy cam / video cam fees into national parks & places of visitation during tour;
Peak season Surcharges on accommodation / transportation / tour services fees (where applicable) during festive periods, public holidays, events & during high/peak tourist seasons;
50% transportation surcharges for transfers made between 2300-0700 hrs;
 
APPLICABLE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
BCC TRAVEL SDN BHD reserves the right to revise tour prices accordingly should there be fuel price increase (whether sudden or progressive) and implementation of new taxes (GST/ VAT etc);
All tour price contained herein are NOT applicable to meetings, incentives, conference & exhibitions;
Please be mindful that Gala Dinners & Peak Season Surcharges apply during public holidays (Christmas, New year & peak season) for different periods at different hotels & will be advised at time of booking;
No refund applicable for any unused portion of the tour program;
Time for conduct of tour activities is subject to change or cancelled due to bad weather conditions, natural disasters or some other unforeseen circumstances; Should a tour activity be cancelled, an alternative activity will be offered at the discretion of the tour company and / or the nature guide; Booking confirmation is subject to room availability;

A handling fee will be charged by BCC TRAVEL to customer for flight ticket booking, amendments, cancellation or cancellation of a confirmed booking.
Special air fares (if any, or during airlines promotional period) are subject to prepayment & immediate flight ticket issuance;
Cancellation of Air Ticket on confirmed booking or no show = 100% charge of total invoice amount; 
Cancellation charges are calculated from the day the written notification is received by the company or agent as a percentage of the NETT total tour price + any surcharges or other penalties imposed by hotels or transport companies; Cancellation of air arrangements is subject to fees charged in accordance to the type of airfares & airline tariff regulations. No refunds given for unused or cancelled services after tour arrangements have commenced;
Cancellation 15-30 days will be charged 30% of total invoice amount;
Cancellation 08-14 days will be charged 60% of total invoice amount;
Cancellation 03-07 days will be charged 80% of total invoice amount;
Cancellation 48 hours or NO SHOW is charged 100% of total invoice amount;
Limited Liability: BCC TRAVEL SDN BHD only acts as an intermediary between the concerned airline, hotel, transport provider & tourists in the provision of services, therefore are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by tourists during the run of program and those occurring outside the tour programs. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accidents, natural disasters, political unrests/actions must be borne by the tourists themselves. Tour programs, prices, services and conditions are based on those valid as at time of printing and subject to change without prior notice, before or during the tour. Participation in our tour implies the Tourist’s agreement to comply with the terms & conditions set out.
